Daylight Saving Time Patch - An update is available for TeleDesk's Instant Messaging feature. Note: This is NOT required for call function - it is related ONLY to the instant messaging feature of TeleDesk.
- Windows Users: Click here to download instructions on updating your TeleDesk install.
- Unix Users: Download and re-install the latest version of TeleDesk.
- Unix Users on SoftDist: Please contact your SoftDist administrator.

Installing TeleDesk on Solaris
Using TeleDesk from your Sun Desktop, or Sunray is easy!
from a terminal or console window, just type: TeleDesk
Example:
machinename%:cd (this puts you in your home directory)
machinename%:TeleDesk
NOTE: Due to system limitations, when you are using remote login, the TeleDesk sounds will not play when you receive inbound calls.

Installing TeleDesk on Windows
Close all programs on your computer, including Outlook 2000, Netscape, and Windows Explorer.
Double click on the Installer icon now on your Desktop.
TeleDesk will begin installing to your computer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the TeleDesk installation.
TeleDesk will ask you to either shut down or restart your computer in order to begin using TeleDesk. Select "Restart."
Tip! During the installation process, you will be offered the option to view the TeleDesk User Guide. If you chose to do so, the TeleDesk User Guide will appear after you restart your computer.

Opening TeleDesk
- After your computer restarts, click on the Start Button at the very bottom left hand corner of your computer.
- Select Programs.
- Select AccessLine Communications.
- Select TeleDesk.
- The TeleDesk login screen appears.
Logging In
- From the TeleDesk login screen, enter your AccessLine number without spaces, dashes, or a "1."
- Enter you PIN.
- Click Sign On to begin using TeleDesk.
Tip! If you check the Auto Logon and Save PIN fields, TeleDesk automatically starts running every time you startup your computer.

Getting TeleDesk
Click here to download TeleDesk for Windows. (with JRE)
Click here to download TeleDesk for Solaris Intel 86, Solaris Sparc and Linux x86. (JRE is not provided with this download. You must have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your machine.)
Note 1: The downloading procedure may vary due to your Web browser or computer's settings. Regardless of how you download programs to your P.C., please remember to save TeleDesk to your Desktop.
Note 2: Synchronizing with Outlook is not recommended.
