County, State, and Federal agencies are implementing new processes and procedures to assure that all communications carriers are able to support them with specialized communications in emergency situations, whether customers make use of them or not. These programs have expanded significantly in recent years, and participation by all communications carriers is required.
Interexchange Carrier Charge - February 22, 2010
All telephone calls move across multiple carrier networks from their point of origin to their point of completion. Every carrier charges AccessLine for the right both to connect to and transit their network. Unfortunately, many of these carriers raise both these fees on an annual basis. AccessLine prides itself on providing the best value available for business communications services. However, we are forced to pass along a small portion of these costs imposed on us by others in the industry.
Adjustment to Regulatory Compliance Fees - January 27, 2010
Increased federal government regulatory requirements are forcing AccessLine to hire additional staff, buy large amounts of additional network equipment, and spend significant development effort to comply. As a result, AccessLine is implementing a modest increase to the Regulatory Compliance Fee in 2010.
While all carriers charge similar fees, AccessLine's fee is smaller than what other carriers charge. We prefer to let you know that this is in direct response to increased costs required of us by the government, rather than hide that fact in a general service price increase. In fact, unlike competitors, AccessLine has not raised its prices in years.

Fee Adjustment for SmartVoice Customers - February 6, 2009
Network Access Surcharge: AccessLine is announcing the addition of a $19.95 surcharge per account to our managed SmartVoice product. This minor fee is required to offset a small part of a price change for network aggregation DS3 connections within our network. These direct connections to our network from our national data network suppliers provide one component of our non-blocking network design. This network configuration allows your voice data packet transport to exceed standard public Internet statistics. This minor change will allow us to continue to supply the quality of service you require with our SmartVoice product.
Update to Call History Feature - January 23, 2009
Due to our desire to maintain the highest levels of quality and service, we've recently upgraded our Call History feature with new search engine software. This improvement allows you to perform quick reviews of your Call History details for the prior week, and monthly breakdowns for month's prior.This new format replaces the custom date search feature with a faster and more precise set of reporting options, designed to address your feedback and better support your reporting needs .
Adjustment to Our International Calling Rates - June 28, 2008
Effective July 1, 2008 we will be adjusting our international calling rates. For the vast majority of our customers, this means additional savings! Most customers will save more than 20% from our previous international rates! This is the result of AccessLine's constant effort to provide our customers with the best value possible.In some cases, and with some countries, depending on your calling pattern, our new international rates will result in a very slight cost increase for you.
